Dr. Stephen Wallace
Dr. Wallace received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He is also a graduate of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry where he received his Certificate in Periodontics in 1971. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Columbia University and also continues to lecture at the New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Continuing Education. Dr. Wallace is also a visiting professor at the University of Maryland Dental College in the Department of Periodontics. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration, where he is currently co-chairman of the committee for hands-on education. Dr. Wallace lectures on subjects relating to implant dentistry both in the United States and abroad. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers relating to implant dentistry, contributed numerous text book chapters, and has co-edited a textbook on maxillary sinus elevation surgery. He maintains a private practice, specializing in periodontics and implant dentistry, in Waterbury, Connecticut.
